1st Year, Blocks A, B, C
- Foundation + Blood (Block A): Physiology (Guyton) and Biochemistry (Satyanarayana) carry the most MCQs. Histology and Embryology are high-yield for quick marks.
- MSK (Block B): Anatomy-heavy, focus on upper and lower limb. Netter's Atlas + Snell's Clinical Anatomy.
- CVS + Respiratory (Block C): Physiology dominates. Master cardiac cycle, ECG, and respiratory mechanics from Guyton.
2nd Year, Blocks D, E, F
- Neurosciences (Block D): Neuroanatomy tracts and cranial nerves are the core. Dr Najeeb lectures + Snell's.
- GIT (Block E): Guyton's GIT chapters + metabolism from one biochemistry book (Satya or Pankaja Naik, pick one).
- Endo + Repro (Block F): Hormone pathways and feedback loops. Endocrine leads the MCQ count.
3rd Year, Blocks G, H, I
- Pathology dominates, Robbins Basic Pathology is your bible. Pathoma for revision.
- Pharmacology: Tara Shanbhag + Lippincott. Learn drug mechanisms, not just names.
- Forensic Medicine: Parikh's. Past-paper MCQs repeat heavily.
